When it is plugged into an outlet and charging, any usb devices connected WILL GET SHORTED OUT AND STOP WORKING. AS LONG AS THE COMPUTER IS NOT PLUGGED IN AND CHARGING USB DEVICES WILL WORK NORMALLY. It’s a known defect with these particular models. It can be fixed by apple for a fee. Computer also has a brand new battery however it is an aftermarket part but apple will still fix the voltage issue.
