MacBook works just fine until you open more than 90 degrees - screen goes dark. it's a ribbon cable which you can solder - I don't have the skills so its project for tech savvy. I went to Apple Store but I missed the boat for recall now they want $500+ for screen replacement. under the screen there is also little spider - see picture. small scratches on the case.
