macbook air

macbook air. So the screen powers on and it goes to a white blank screen with a blinking folder as shown in the pictures. Also one side of the screen has a piece missing. The screen still works and it does fine just needs a little support to hold it up. I don't know what's wrong with it,and honestly I'm done messing with it. It's been a problem for a while and I'm just wanting to sell it. Since I don't know if it's an easy fix or not nor do I care I'm asking 170 for it because I paid close to 5. If anybody knows how to fix it and wants it dm me. Otherwise dumpster it goes.
