The battery is not in good condition due to age. The computer works perfectly while plugged in but will only get maybe 1 hour on battery power. If you want to use this portably for more than a few minutes, you might want to get the battery replaced which Apple, a third party, or you can do, but if you want a nice computer that you can move around and will use at a desk, this is a great option.
