2012 MacBook pro 15 inch. Chime but screen stays black. Looks perfect.
I'm guessing someone with the right skills could fix this. I tried, but failed. The computer starts up with the usual Apple chime, but the screen stays black. It's pretty much perfect cosmetically. I've included a new battery (fewer than 50 cycles), 4GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive. No charger.
