apple MacBook Pro A1398 mid 2012

apple MacBook Pro A1398 mid 2012. Serial # CO2J5P4WDKQ1 So here’s the thing with this laptop , it does has some spots on a black screen shown in pic. But when the screen is on , you can’t see them . It’s missing the OS hard drive ? One day it just quit working on my son and well I don’t know much about them and we don’t have anywhere in town that fixes this problem , I did get around it putting an OS on a thumb drive and it does work , but to update it won’t work because there’s not enough storage and quite frankly I’m done monkeying around with it ;) he graduates in May and doesn’t use it anyways :) so this is sold as is , it does work but I’m sure the actual OS drive would be better
