Apple 2012 MacBook Air 11", i7, 8GB, 256GB SSD:

This listing is for a late-2012 11" MacBook Air that I custom-ordered new from Apple (receipt in photos). I purchased this when I did field work for a company and was on the road. I needed something small and light, but fast and with great battery life. This Air perfectly fit this task for several years until I took an office position with a desktop, and no longer needed it. I've kept in my office for occasionally use, and because it's still a great ultra-portable notebook, but have now decided to pass it on.

I love Macs, and take care of all my tech gear, and because this was a substantial investment for me at the time, I purchased a hard shell cover and keyboard cover. These were installed on the same day of delivery, so the condition of this Air will probably surprise anyone seeing it, as it is in pristine condition. I used the keyboard cover when I was in less than ideal conditions, and the keyboard barely looks used. I have kept the original boxes and materials. You won't find any scuffs for scratches on the screen or aluminum body. All functions, ports, etc., work as they should. The battery life is acceptable for most tasks (see System Report photo) and a battery replacement is possible on this unit, if needed.

There are three condition issues, although minor, that I've documented in photos:

1. a very small scratch on the bottom of the unit, maybe 2 mm in length
2. the AC adapter / charger came apart at the prong area. I glued it in place, and it's worked for years, but a replacement adapter would be the best solution
3. a "bite" mark in the upper left of the screen bezel, from a curious kitten at a shelter that I was doing some volunteer work for, doesn't affect screen

At the time of the photos, this Air was running Mojave (10.14), along with Windows 10 (Boot Manager), that I used for work. The disk has been reformatted to its original size, along with a new install of Catalina (10.15) which is the  highest Mac operating system supported on this model. The buyer will be presented with the continued installation of Catalina upon powering on. I logged out of iCloud before erasing and reformatting the drive, and have removed this device from my Apple ID device listing.

Included with this MacBook Air:

- Apple Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet adapter, for wired connections if needed

- RadTech's NeoCase, soft travel case for MacBook Air

I added a blue, custom sticker to cover the white Apple light. It gives it a nice, soft blue glow when on, and also helped me find my laptop in a crowded office. The sticker is supposed to peel off when not needed. I cannot include websites here, but complete specs can be found on Apple's website and many others.
