Before Jony Ive took Apple down a minimalistic design path by removing all ports, and before the butterfly keyboard fiasco, MacBook Pros were built like this one. They had CD/DVD drives, ethernet, FireWire, SD, USB-A, Display Port, and audio ports that could be configured for recording or playback.

This MacBook Pro is a time capsule. It looks brand new - even the keyboard shows no sign of wear since it was used with an external keyboard. It comes in the original undamaged box. It's been upgraded with a 500GB OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 6G SSD. It boots to the login screen in just 13 seconds. The keyboard has a lovely tactile feel to it, which was lost and has only just returned with the M2 MacBook Pro.

I'd keep it to benchmark MacBook Pros against, but I'd rather someone put it to good use. So here's your chance!
