I7 4940MX processor is a powerful CPU; and yesterday I already changed the paste to Honeywell PTM7950 super highly thermally conductive Phase Change Material (PCM) to keep the CPU in state working condition;

the W541 use the traditional touch pad, discard the stupid design in W540;
 
I installed 2 almost new Micron SSD (both working hours less than 100) for the laptop, set up them as raid 1, mirror setting (500GB), so the data will not be lost in normal use, if one SSD chip lost data, another one is mirror, so, any important data you can save in this PC now, no need to backup if the PC in your hand.
any way, if you do not need the Raid 1, just set the Sata config as "ACHI" within BIOS. the total capacity of SSD will be 2x 500GB;
