Product Description:

The screen is convertible - the back flips completely backwards to simulate a tablet, and you can view videos, surf the web, play games and apps in a manner similar to an iPad or Android tablet. An on-screen keyboard pops up when you enter a text field. Unlike the Microsoft Surface and many copycats, the keyboard does not detach, it simply becomes inactive in tablet mode.

A few extra points about this laptop/tablet:

1. The RAM, hard drive (HD), and battery are user replaceable!

2.  RAM -- up to 8 GB is recognized by the BIOS.

3. The HD is a standard 2.5". The bottom cover comes off with small Phillips screws. This computer was designed to be tough, easy to fix and upgrade.

4. Many laptops recently make it very hard to get access to the RAM and HD for upgrades.  Several Dells require you to completely disassemble the entire laptop to upgrade components. This laptop has an old-fashioned access panel on the bottom to access the RAM, HD, and battery which is great. Easily upgrade in the future!
