BE ADVISED- this is a one-owner “Mid 2009” model.  It’s an old MacBookPro.

“Mid 2009” model means it’s 14 years old!  It runs well but understand the newest operating system this MacBkPro can run is OS X 10.11, El Capitan, which Apple stopped supporting years ago. Also be aware that later 2009 edition MacBkPros can run newer OS. So if you have a particular app you want to run, you need to check the System Requirements to verify if it can run on “El Capitan”. If your app needs OS X 12 or newer, this Mac can’t run it.   No returns.

UPGRADES- This Mac has had the battery replaced and the hard drive replaced with a 500 GB SSD.

This Package INCLUDES:

MacBookPro

Charger Power Supply

USB Flash for OS Utilities

USB3 EXTERNAL DRIVE- with USB-3 cable

containing a backup copy of OS X installed

This Package does not INCLUDE:

This MacBookPro has everything it did when new, except:

This Mac’s OS does not have the internal “Recovery” Partition

So you cannot startup with  “Cmd-R”, and have these features:

1- No external OSX “Utilities” features with StartUp on Cmd-R

2- No ability to externally reinstall a fresh OS X copy

See next section

You may need these features, so to compensate for that, I’m including two additional items

1- A separate flash drive provides all the OS Utilities

except reinstalling a new OS X to the drive.

2- A separate USB backup drive, provides a complete reinstall

of the OS X on this Mac.  A copy program is already installed.

With this extra hardware, you’ll have virtually all

the features of the Recovery Partition

Details upon request

Please ask any questions about this Mac and additional hardware,

before you buy. If you are not an experienced Mac user,

I’d recommend a newer model that includes tech support.

No returns.
