Please read carefully before bidding. You are bidding on one partially working unit of MacBook Retina 12” Early 2015 A1534 laptop notebook with a 1.2GHz Intel Core M Processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD. This laptop was used by my son for his school work but I’ve upgraded him to an M1 laptop. The good and bad as follows:

The Good

Item externally in great shape, no dents or other issues (see pics)
Display is not broken, no scratches (see pics)
Keyboard, trackpad, speaker/sound all working fine with no issues whatsoever
Wifi, bluetooth have no issues
Battery has been replaced

The Bad

Single USB-C port is only good for charging. Cannot output video or connect USB peripherals. Not all USB-C cables are able to charge this laptop. I’m including one that works (see pics). I suspect it is because the USB-C receptacle is getting worn out.
Displays has static noise that is most visible when when you shutdown the laptop (see pics) but also comes up intermmittently on other dialog boxes as well. I do not know what causes this, perhaps the display cable is getting worn out or losse from all the opening and closing of the laptop.
Laptop hinge is a little squeaky when opening it up. It does not squeak when still.
Laptop base runs a little warm to touch
I’ve not tested the Webcam

Given the issues, I’m offering this laptop for bidding at a parts price even though it is actually partially working. Strip it for parts or use as-is.
