While the standard limited one year warranty does not provide 24/7 priority, tech support, or or accidental damage like cracking. The screen and hardware is not covered after one year either but with AppleCare+ all those services that the limited warranty won’t cover AppleCare+ does.

NOTE: when the AppleCare+ ends on 12/20/23 you can EXTEND up to 30 days after it expires, either paying month by month or paying for one or two years depending on if you want to extend it with Apple. That makes it a great deal.

Most sellers will offer an aftermarket warranty which is not nearly as good as AppleCare+
