Please note that the display on this macbook has been replaced with a genuine Apple display, however as Apple has made it ever so difficult for part replacement, unless the screen is Calibrated by special apple Software the top banner will show blocks in the background- note pictures attached. The display is still fully functional, and might not be an issue for those who mainly use external displays however thus the price reduction for this macbook. In the future if there's every a software that comes out, this issue may be resolved.
