Oh boy, where do I begin. This MacBook 12” is in perfect working condition and cosmetically a 9/10 but the space-bar is BROKEN. If you don’t know already, Apple’s super thin butterfly keyboards have had dust & dirt issues. A family member watched a YouTube video on how to remove a “stuck key” which is proper *if* you don’t have an Apple butterfly keyboard. As such, the space-bar key and underlying mechanism is now BROKEN. The actual button for the space-bar WORKS, it just needs a new space-bar and scissor. You could hook an external keyboard to this unit OR someone can use this unit for parts. One other option is to use this MacBook in clamshell mode with an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse. The broken space-bar and scissor mechanism is included and in the small envelope that contains the documentation for this laptop. It’s a real shame since there are no scratches and only a couple tiny-tiny “pits” on the bottom case from it resting on a dirty hard surface. This MacBook has always lived in a smoke-free home and comes with Mac OS X Ventura (latest) installed and ready to initialize like new. I kept all of the original packaging (including felt barrier between screen and keyboard) and this will show up at your doorstep like new, but without the shrink wrap.
