I've had this MacBook Pro since 2014 and used it as my main computer. It still works well, with normal wear and tear. I've reinstalled Big Sur. The screen has smudges, but no scratches. The body has a few scratches, but it's regular wear and tear. The computer still works well; the battery definitely doesn't hold its charge the way it used to, but you can get maybe 1-3 hours without plugging it in. I put a decal of a camera control on the front -- it should be pretty easy to get off (unless you like it).
