I have installed the NEWEST POSSIBLE macOS Catalina 10.15.7.

I have upgraded this machine to use the MAXIMUM POSSIBLE 16 GB RAM

BUYERS PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

1) THE BATTERY NEEDS SERVICING and will not hold a charge for long. It is not damaged or swelling. It's just old.

2) the AC ADAPTER CABLE IS CRIMPED BUT WORKING. It's an old adapter, and the cable near the power supply is warped and twisted, but otherwise seems to work fine. There's no exposed wiring. The insulation is intact.

3) THIS MAC DOES NOT HAVE iLife or iWork INSTALLED. The original hard drive was replaced with a fast SSD and a fresh macOS 10.15.7 Catalina install.

4) I have not extensively tested the optical drive. I put in a video DVD and it played without problems.

Camera, Microphone, Speakers work. All keys on keyboard work. USB ports work. SD Card slot works
