This is a build-to-order Apple 14.2" MacBook Pro with M1 Max Chip (Late 2021, Silver). It has the 10-core CPU and 24-core GPU M1 Max processor.
It was purchased in June 2022. It is in pristine condition, having been babied throughout its life. The laptop lived in a plastic case (BELK case from Amazon) and usually docked and rarely went outside for most of its life. As a result, I haven't even used the built-in keyboard or trackpad much, and they look pretty low mileage in that sense. It was mostly used for web development and music production, and it worked great. I purchased AppleCare+ for it, and it will be covered until July 13, 2025.
I recently got an M2 Pro 16" notebook as I wanted a bigger laptop for editing, so I'm selling this one.
As for price, I've priced it fairly, and there's no room for negotiation. Please don't bother me with lowball offers.
If you wanted this exact build (M1 Max 10/24 w/ 32GB + 4TB), you can get it at B&H for $3699 brand new, which is already heavily discounted. If you sign up for their card, you can get it tax-free. What I've done here is take the B&H price, pro-rate the AppleCare+ (at $279) for a bit over 2 years, then I took 27% off (consider it a 20% discount minus a bit more for taxes). That brings us to $2797. If you find that unacceptable, please move onto another listing, but you wouldn't be here if you weren't looking for a 4TB model, and you probably already understand that Apple charges $1200 for that upgrade. It's an Apple. It's not going to be cheap.
