This has been my personal laptop since new. When I purchased it in late 2016 it I highly spec'd it to future proof it and its been an incredible laptop ever since with no real issues other than the recent key issues as described above.

Im selling it now as my workload for this machine has increased and I need a larger SSD and more ram.

The upgrades on this laptop include:

The laptop is still proficient in 2023 including for editing with Final Touch Pro where I have had no issues at all.

The body is in excellent condition with only minor color wear on the corners (see pics). No dents and no significant scratches other than one small paint chip (see pic). The laptop's A key has some slight paint chipping (see pic) but works perfectly.

The screen is in good condition and works perfectly. It does have the usual slight marking from the keyboard as most Macs do (see pic), but this is only visible when the screen is off and doesn't impact performance or functionality in any way.

The only areas that need light attention are the laptop's G key and left shit key sometimes don't register on first push. They always do work, but sometimes you have to press them a little harder to get them to register. Looking on the electronic keyboard function there is no issue there so I think its just dirty keys that maybe need to be blown out with some air.

The battery charges and holds charge for hours both under use and standby, but it is the original battery and so really could do with replacing to give the ultimate performance from this machine. It shows as 'service recommended' under the system information. The battery cycle count in 790 at the time of writing this ad.

This Mac comes with its original 61w USB C charger... this has scratches and a small burr on the USB-C cable which I have covered with electrical tape (see pic).. it has been like that for probably 5 years and it hasn't caused any issues. Replacing the USB C cable is easy and costs $19 from Apple if you would prefer to have everything perfect.
