Battery still holds a good charge … can stay in sleep mode for days and lose very little battery charge. This is a MacBook model with a screw open battery access, which makes it very easy to install a new battery if and when one might be needed.

The DVD drive works perfectly … also has USB slots. Connects to the internet and loads quickly.

Please look carefully at the photos provided. Those show there some areas of damage: some cracks and missing area on the outer back hinge area. None of these issues impact the operation of the MacBook in any way. -- The keyboard and display have no issues. -- Note that this model has a split track pad.
