Mid 2015 Macbrook Pro 15, 2.2 GHz Quad Core Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, 250GB SSD.<div>Model A1398.<br>&nbsp;</div><div>Of the 15 laptops I had to sell, this is the only one that had an issue.&nbsp; It was working fine for years, and then after being pulled out and getting ready to recommission to sell, I could not get the OS to reinstall.&nbsp; The first thing I did with every one of these laptops was to wipe the hard drive and reinstall OS Monterey.&nbsp; When I did that, it crashed mid way through.&nbsp; I could not reinstall Monterey, so I tried to reinstall from USB boot sticks for High Sierra, Big Sur, Sierra, and Mojave, and every one of them failed right about half way through the install.&nbsp; My gut tells me something is wrong with the SSD.&nbsp; I can't think of anything else that might cause that.</div><div><br></div><div>Anyway, as you can see from the one picture, the machine will not boot anymore to an OS.&nbsp; Perhaps swapping the SSD will fix it.</div><div>&nbsp;<div>Other than the above, the laptop is in excellent condition.&nbsp; It was used for a training class with 14 others, and kept in storage boxes between classes.&nbsp; All machines were left on desktop and used in training, so little opportunity for being dropped, scratched, or otherwise.</div><div><br></div><div>Top of case had a skin on it since purchase to protect it.&nbsp; We'll keep the skin on for shipping, you are welcome to remove, but we wanted to keep it protected during shipping.&nbsp; Screen has no apparent blemishes or scratches.&nbsp; Bottom has a couple of very minor smudges or blemishes.</div><div><br></div><div>15" 2880x1800 screen in excellent condition.&nbsp; 2.2 GHz Quad Core Intel Core i7 processor with 16GB RAM and Intel Iris Pro graphics.&nbsp; 250GB solid state drive, very likely damaged?&nbsp; We do not know.</div><div><br></div><div>Laptop will ship with the 4 items seen in the picture with the box... you will receive the laptop, the power supply, the box as shown, and the laptop shipped in the bubble pack as shown.&nbsp; Packing paper will fill the open gaps.&nbsp; The box is 19"x12"x3" and the total weight is 6 pounds.</div><div><br></div><div>I have no method to perform battery tests, but the battery is taking a charge and holding.&nbsp; These are 7 years old so I doubt you will get 10 hours from it, so please keep that in mind.&nbsp; That said, they've been holding for the few hours I've been setting them up.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
