As clearly pictured, the left side and small strip at bottom of the screen are damaged/blacked out but to the right of it is still VERY VERY usable. Here was my use case: I connected the laptop to an external display, put the dock to the left of the damaged area, used the right side and ALL of my external display, making it a dual-monitor set up. This worked splendidly and ran without one hiccup. I really did not touch it this past 2022 year but it has always been sitting in a cool, temperature-controlled room the whole time. I replaced and put in brand new battery and it works flawlessly.

Another use case for this is a "screenless laptop" like I pictured. Essentially removing the screen & keeping its bottom casing as a computer - utilizing the backlit keyboard, trackpad, speakers, and all of its ports. Just connect to an external display (and/or peripherals) and you'll have yourself a DIY mini but still extremely capable computer for light, everyday use. (I know you wouldn't look here if you were searching for an editing rig like the current M1 or M2 lol). This is actually gaining a lot of popularity since it's just so practical and breathes entirely new life into something sort of old. Do a simple YouTube search and you'll know what I'm talking about :)

You can even tell this laptop was hardly used since all the keys are still very stiff (which only means they were barely typed on) and trackpad and its insides are practically brand new. The top and bottom chassis are essentially new (I baby all my electronics, you'll see) all ports work, from MagSafe 2 charging port to all the USB & HDMI port, speakers, HD webcam, SD card slot, and battery holds charge easily for a couple hours.

Being a late 2013 laptop it isn't the latest and greatest any longer but it is wiped clean and updated to the last version of macOS supported, definitely ready for a new owner!
