2016 Apple MacBook Pro 13.3" with TouchBar (256GB SSD, Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM) *READ DESCRIPTION*.

Fully working, but has some issues.

- Usual wear and tear, some deep scuffs as shown in pictures.

- One corner is bent.

- Maybe a couple microscratches on screen, but not noticeable in use.

- Discoloration in bottom right when screen is on, only noticeable in black screens. Not noticeable while in use (I only notice it on startup boot screen).

- Power issue (read **MAIN ISSUE** below)

- *Note: Cleaned the best that I could with what I have, but there may still be some smudges on screen/body and debris under keys as I didn’t not pull any of them off.

Original power brick.

Replacement Apple 6ft. USB-C Cable

Replacement 3rd party ‘Macbook Pro’ bottom screen bezel.

**MAIN ISSUE**

I do not know what the exact problem is. When the fans kick in, the battery will not charge and will run off battery power even if it’s plugged in. The battery will charge normally when not in use, closed/off, basically when you aren’t doing anything where the fans have to kick in. Even simple web browsing may cause it to run off battery power. I’ve tried different cables, different power bricks, different power sources/outlets, tried every USB-C port. Issue still remains. The Battery Health reads ‘Normal’ in the settings. I also opened the back, but everything seemed okay. Even cleaned the motherboard.

When I took it to the Apple Store, they said there was ‘green gunk’ inside, but that was nowhere to be found when I opened it up. They ended up sending it off for repair, but they tried to charge me $200+ just for the cracked bezel at the, nothing about the power issue. I sent it off twice and they wouldn’t even acknowledge the power issue, just the cracked bezel. When I got it back, it would not power on at all which led me to opening it up for the first time and replacing the bezel myself. Apple left the battery unplugged and left out the screw and tape that keeps the battery cable down. Ordered replacement screw and used kapton tape.

The MacBook is fully functional and can be used normally. Just that power issue will get annoying and the battery will die faster the harder the fans have to work. As stated, even if you have it plugged in and the fans come on, it will still use battery power and not from the power brick.

Best wishes to whomever gets this, hopefully you will be able to find and fix the problem.
