The aluminum on the to shell has a light fading from were the shade of the lap top case. Case was on from the time when purchased, yet there are some small scratches on the bottom left side, see pictures. 

New cost was over $2300 
Computer hard drive (SSD) was erased and the newest OS system has been updated, as you open the computer you will be guided through the setup.
