This 15-inch MacBook Pro functions well, aside from the serious keyboard issues described below, and a new battery was installed less than a year ago. The battery has more than 90% capacity.

The main issue is the keyboard. The Spacebar does not work. I've been using the Karabiner Elements app to map the Right Command key to serve as a Spacebar. It currently is just glued in place. Also, the "W' and "J" keys work, but sometimes require multiple taps. Also, there is a small smudge on the screen that is usually only noticeable against a very light or very dark background. It has not caused a problem. So this computer is usable on its own with the help of an app such as Karabiner Elements, but it's especially well-suited to someone using an external keyboard and monitor.
