For sale today is a 2017 Apple MacBook Pro 15" Intel i7 2.8GHz processor 16GB RAM 250GB SSD Touch Bar in FOR PARTS condition.

The MacBook Pro boots normally and has a new install of macOS Ventura.

Battery charges and lasts about 2-4 hours depending on usage. Charger NOT included.

Description of Condition / Damage

-Water damaged. Spilled over keyboard.

-Drop damaged. Was dropped on the right side of laptop resulting in cracked display and bezel. The display is severely damaged shows a black screen with green vertical lines down the right side of the display. Sometimes the display will show the left side of the image and the right will be blacked out with green vertical lines. Most of the time the display will just be a black screen.

- The metal case of the MacBook Pro has visible scratches, scuffs, dents, and discoloration from stickers. These defects can be seen on the top, bottom, and sides of the device.

-USB Ports and headphone jack on the right side of MacBook Pro has issues with connecting if you move the laptop or move the cable.

For example, if the MacBook Pro is connected to an external display if any movement like sliding the laptop on the table or picking up the laptop while connected the external display will disconnect.

Not sure if this issue is from the water damage or the drop. Could be combination of the two. If the laptop is completely still there seems to be no issue.

-Bluetooth drops connection to devices frequently. Bluetooth will connect and then immediately drop or a couple of minutes will go by before ultimately dropping connection.

With all these damages, defects, and issues this MacBook Pro has still been in use while connected to an external display primarily used as a desktop computer.

The two left side USB ports have been working normally and are used to charge and connect the the external display.

The backlit keyboard, trackpad, and Touch Bar all work normally.

Wi-Fi works normally. This laptop has been mainly used to the search the internet, check emails, and stream YouTube videos which it has done daily for the past month.

Speakers work normally. Webcam works normally.
