the screen isn’t working but the Macbook still works if you connect a 2nd display. I purchased a Macbook Pro M2 and I was going to trade this Macbook in but 3 days after buying the M2 my cat breaks the screen and my new computer hadn’t even come in yet. So i just didn’t send it in though I did talk to Apple.

Apple said that it would be 200$ to fix the display. it’s just the LED that’s cracked not even the glass in front of it. My cat weighs like 20 pounds or more, and he likes laying on my backpack, and this day my charging block was on top of the macbook and my cat put just enough pressure to put a micro crack and the display stopped working. it’s never been dropped, and everything works perfectly fine minus the display. it has a real wood cover on it that’s kept it from all scratches or dings. this can be for parts or it can be used as is. I been told by Apple that it would be 200$ to fix the display. the just the LED that’s cracked not even the glass in front of it.
