The anti-glare coating was stripped from the screen because of the issue the coating had with these models
The MacBook powers on and operates just fine. It's listed "for parts" because the battery and charger run hot in-use and need to be replaced. It does boot up and operate normally apart from that. Yosemite comes pre-installed.
