this model is still somewhat customizable as you can replace the SSD for more storage and replace the logic board for max 16GB ram.

*NEEDS BATTERY* only downside. works fine on charger and on battery but the battery life varies.

batteries are about $100 and possibly self serviceable with the right tools.
