Functionality

Laptop powers on normally and I am able to navigate to the bios without restriction. Laptop does not have a hard drive (or caddy) installed therefore further testing has not been completed.

Unit will currently run without AC adapter plugged in so presumably one or both batteries have some additional life to them.

Care should be taken when opening the top cover as the hinge is broken and the integrity of the entire top cover assembly and screen is lost. Immediate repair is the best option to avoid further damage. To be clear, the screen works as expected, and lid will open and close, but other parts of the assembly and screen are at high risk of damage during use.

Physical Condition

Good condition cosmetically, albeit with a bit of noteworthy damage

Left hinge is broken - Top cover will open and close but it's weak

Display is in great condition under the circumstances - scratch and damage free

Wires around hinge (webcam maybe?) may have been severed
