Apple MacBook Air 13.3" M1 8GB 512GB SSD -Gold. Works great but please read….

1. There was a water damage last year which resulted in some smudgy bubbles to appear on the two sides of the screen. They do not interfere with work. They don’t hide, blur or smudge the text or content in any way. If you use dark theme then you will hardly notice them. The pictures 1 and 2 are of full page text on white and dark background. As you can see they are not noticeable.

Picture 3 and 4 are full white screen, with no content, and the screen is set to maximum brightness, it is then when they are most noticeable.

Also, the bubbles have shrunk and dried up a bit in the last year.

2. The first USB-C port is not able to fire a monitor. It is able to do everything else though, connect to a hub or charge. The second usb-c is fully functional and able to power up my giant monitor plus 10 peripherals and without an issue (see the last picture).

Please carefully see all the pictures. In general if you are bothered with such things then this MacBook is for not you because you’re going to see these bubbles every time you open the machine, perhaps everywhere, even in your sleep, and you’ll be miserable—otherwise you can save some money in exchange for less than perfect screen.

I work as a technologist and a data scientist and was able to use this M1 for churning lots of numbers without an issue. I ditched my $3,000 Windows Laptop for it and I believe I was getting better performance out of it. Selling this because now I have upgraded to MacBook Air M2.
