By bidding on this item, you accept and acknowledge this Mac does not work properly and requires repair. The battery is dead and needs to be replaced, it will only turn on when plugged in; if the power cord is removed, the Mac turns off. There is another issue with the CPU which is causing extremely slow performance - I would describe the performance as "unusable." See the pic with Activity monitor showing "Kernel_Task" useage for info. There are some sticky keys on the keyboard around the "Delete" key area. A professional technician would need to run proper diagnostics to determine the extent of the problems.

Cosmetically it is in fair-to-average shape. See the condition description for more details. The pics make the mac look like it's in better condition than it really is.

This Mac has been freshly reloaded with an online restore - which took 2+ hours given the performance problems this Mac has. While I would not sell a device known to be compromised, please remember to practice safe technology purchasing. You should erase this laptop and perform your own restore, or at minimum add a password to it.
