Used mainly for web browsing. Have used with Windows 10 Pro (<b>Windows 7 Pro </b>license included in battery bay). Also used with Qubes OS 4.0.1 (won't work with 4.1.1 ~ not a good laptop for Qubes at this point). Linux (I use Fedora on other ThinkPads) could also be a good choice (haven't tested on this unit).</div><div><br></div><div><b>Outside case </b>~ shows moderate wear to all surfaces, lid has some dulling/scuffing</div><div><b>Inside plastics</b> ~ shows moderate wear to all surfaces ~ small crack in palm rest.</div><div><b>Screen</b> ~ clean with no dead pixels ~ does have two slight scratches (not noticeable with a live screen)</div><div><b>Keyboard/Trackpoint/touchpad </b>~ works as they should w/some glossing to surfaces</div><div><b>Camera/headphone jack/Thinkpad light</b> ~ work, headphone jack has some static/only noticeable during quiet moments</div><div><b>WiFi/bluetooth/ethernet</b> ~ work, did have trouble with WiFi when doing Zoom meetings prior. Would lose connection and have to&nbsp; restart/problem unknown&nbsp;</div><div><b>Repasted</b> CPU w/NT-H2 thermal paste. Also have <b>TPFanControl</b> installed. If you use the <b>Intel Graphics</b> the fan runs sometimes. If you use <b>Nvidia</b> it runs all of the time. It does have <b>Optimus ~ </b>I have never got it working since you need Windows 7 or work arounds. I just set the graphics in Bios. Usually use the Intel dedicated.&nbsp;</div><div><b>USB ports</b> ~ work, haven't used/tested other ports.</div><div><b>Battery</b> ~ holds a charge ~ charged to 100% and played a video with headphones plugged in. It ran for 1 hr. 18 mins. with 19% battery remaining. It's a used battery (OEM unit) ~ don't expect miracles.</div><div><b>DVD drive</b> ~ played a DVD and CD a-okay.
