This is one of the great classic MacBook Pros with an Intel processor which still runs Windows or Linux. It also has upgradable storage which is not possible on newer Macs. it is fully equipped with 16 gigs of ram, an Intel i7 processor, and a 500 GB SSD drive.

It has 520 battery cycles which is very good for a computer of this era. The retina screen is in very good condition works fine and the lamination is in good condition.

There are several small dents on the corners - see photos. The dents don’t affect the function of the screen at all, but they are noticeable cosmetic flaws. There are also a few light surface scratches on the lid and a small dent the bottom. Please see the photos.

Functionally the computer works great, connects to the Internet, works on facetime, streams video, and does all productivity tasks just fine. The keyboard, trackpad, backlight, and camera work fine. It is running macOS Monterey.

This would be great for a student who doesn’t mind small cosmetic flaws or who does not need the very latest and fastest. The huge screen is a great benefit for anybody who is working on it a lot.
