MacBook Pro Retina Mid-2012 15-inch 8GB RAM i7-3720QM 2.6Ghz CPU 500GB SSD with discrete Nvidia 650M GPU running the latest Mac OS Ventura 13.1 & AC adapter.

This laptop uses OpenCore Legacy Patcher 0.5.3 to perform a clean install of MacOS Ventura. Apple does not officially support Ventura on any MacBook prior to 2017, but it still runs great on this speedy i7 laptop. You will also receive native security and feature updates directly from Apple for several years, just like a brand new Mac.

Condition:
-Some delamination of the screen as is typical of 2012-2015 MacBook's, but it doesn't affect the screen when it's turned on.
-A few small scratches/white dots on the display. I did my best to photograph them on a black screen to highlight them as much as possible for the buyer, but it's very hard to see them in real world use as you can see in the other photographs.
-Seal around the display sometimes leaves thin cosmetic marks on the edges of the body when the lid is closed.
-Missing 1 small screw on the bottom of the case.
-Typical scratches and scuffs on the body as noted in the photos.
-Battery 419 cycles and still holds a decent charge.

Maintenance:
-Cleaned out internal components, vents and fans to remove any build up of lint or dust to improve cooling.
-Removed old used thermal paste and applied new premium paste to CPU and GPU to ensure a long life of continued use.
-Cleaned and sanitized entire display, body and keyboard/trackpad with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol.

Tech Note:
Since Apple does not officially support any older laptops with Ventura, I would recommend against attempting to use their Migration Assistant tool when first setting up the laptop. It seems to cause more problems than it solves, especially if you are coming from an older version of MacOS. Skip over the migration assistant on first setup, create/login with your account as you normally would and manually copy over any files you need through AirDrop, USB or a Time Machine backup after you are logged in. This will keep your new laptop clean and will avoid any potential compatibility issues. If you don't need to migrate from another machine, then ignore this note.

Overall this laptop is in great shape and performs very well with Ventura 13.1. It can also handle light gaming with its additional Nvidia graphics card and comes with an AC adapter. Why waste money on a new MacBook Pro to get Ventura when you can just buy this?
