Apple MacBook Pro A1286 2010 15" For Parts Does Not Boot.

This MacBook was fine until it stopped working just recently. I took the SSD out, but left the 6GB of ram. The battery is ok. The screen is fine, but shows lines across the screen when booting. My guess is the video card went bad. I tried to reinstall OSx, but it wouldn't install. Just selling it for parts. I expect in order to get this Mac running again, you'd have to replace the logic board which isn't worth it imo.
