The internal battery is included. However, it does not hold a charge.

In order to power on the laptop, hold down the power button for 10 seconds and connect a charger while still holding the power button for another 10 seconds.

The display has horizontal lines on it, presumably caused by a GPU problem.

An example of the display is shown on the last photo, running a memory test from a Linux USB drive.

Was not able to get laptop to boot into operating system, but it does turn on, hard reboots when trying to load any Linux, mac operating system
