This Used - Tested - MacBook Pro A1286 - 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo P8700 - 4GB - 320GB - Running Ubuntu laptop was pulled from service as a working system that was upgraded, it was kept as a spare / parts machine.

It was working on the day it was pulled to be put in stock and tested to have no issues.

This laptop does have an issue that causes it to freeze when browsing the web using Wi-Fi in Ubuntu. 

This may be a problem with the system, the Wi-Fi or with the Ubuntu installation.

This laptop should be considered a parts machine or one that needs repair.

The system is in fair condition with slight scratches and scuffing on the top (***See Photos***)

There is one missing bottom case screw

The screws to mount the hard drive are missing (***See Photos***)

There is a missing bottom case screw (***See Photos***)

The screen hinges are a bit loose - the screen will stay in position but moves without much resistance

The screen is in excellent condition with no blemishes or bright spots.

It is no longer needed.
