This is a gently used laptop that has been professionally upgraded and refurbished by an Apple certified technician with 30 years of experience.

This MacBook Pro was used exclusively as a desktop system with both an external keyboard and mouse - so it is literally in like new condition.  There is zero wear or "shine" on the built-in keyboard and trackpad.  The lid is flawless and the hinge is smooth and tight.  The only cosmetic imperfection is on the bottom of case.  There are some very light scratches from handling.

Both the main and the CMOS/clock battery have been replaced.  All thermal pads and paste have been replaced or refreshed.
