This is a used laptop in very good cosmetic condition with light signs of normal use (scrapes, scratches, etc). There are no chips or cracks on the palm rest. 

The DVD drives works but sometimes has issues with low-quality burned discs. It did not seem to have any issues with factory-stamped discs.

The screen can start out dim when not used for a while, but becomes brighter as it warms up.

Please examine photos carefully.

OS X 10.7.5 Lion has been freshly installed. This is the most recent version of OS X that is officially supported on this laptop.

All of the built-in Apple hardware diagnostics have passed. 

Everything has been thoroughly tested and guaranteed to be fully functional (unless otherwise specified in this listing).

The battery is in good condition and holds a long-term charge. OS X System Profiler reports a maximum charge capacity of 4,919 mAh and 224 charge cycles. However, no testing has been performed to assess actual usable battery life or discharge rate.
