15"
MacBookPro with Retina display, 2.3GHz i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, two AC adapters/chargers
(fraying on end of one cable). I have owned this for several years, but
not the original owner. The battery is the original and lasts a couple
hours for general web surfing. Screen has no cracks. It does have marks
from the keyboard, though which are visible while the screen is on in certain lighting due to
the reflective finish on this screen. They are very visible when the screen is off. Main problem with this laptop is
the display. Sometimes it does not power on with the computer. It may
take one or several power cycles to make it come back on. Graphics
intensive tasks seem to always make the display stop working while the
laptop is on. The only way to get the display on again is cycling power
one or several times. It can be very frustrating. Unfortunately, when the display turns off you can't even get output from the HDMI so it becomes fairly useless until it decides to power on again after one or many reboots.
This has a fresh install of Catalina and has been removed from my icloud account so you can sign in to it with your icloud account. Aside from the display and battery all other hardware works fine. Wi-fi, bluetooth, backlit keyboard, ssd, CPU, etc. Top cover is in excellent condition. Bottom cover has what I consider a normal amount of wear shown for a 10 year old laptop. The body itself is in great condition with no dings or dents. Seems like it would make a good parts source. Shipping included in buy it now price.
