Does NOT come with charger.

The reason it is being sold for parts or repair is the operating system.  I cannot get Windows to activate.  I have tried numerous things, including using command prompt to retrieve the actual product key from BIOS.

So, I had put a 16GB sata SSD in it and was going to make that the main drive and use the 750gb HDD as storage.  I was able to put windows on that 16gb SSD, but wasn't able to update it.  There just wasn't enough room.  So I took the SSD out.  For some reason, now, it still shows the 16gb SSD in diskpart and in disk manager.  I simply don't know how to remove it.  I believe this is the reason that windows won't activate on the HDD. 

It's over my head.  I don't know what to do besides list it as parts

Besides that, all other key functions work fine.  There is a crack in the plastic housing just above the SD card slot.   It does not affect any functionality.  You can see this in the photos.

The screen looks great, very few and very light scratches.  There is some heavy rub wear on the click pad and the more popular keys on the keyboard.  The top lid shows light signs of scratches and wear.
