This laptop is in great condition and is ready to use as soon as you power it on. It has been upgraded with a 500GB SSD, 8GB RAM, and macOS High Sierra. It has minor marks and thin scratches on the case, which are shown in the photos. It also has an imperfection in the screen which you can notice when light hits the screen while it's dark - this is also shown in the pictures - it looks like a smudge. The screen issue has not limited my use of the laptop.
