Apple MacBook Pro 15-inch, 2.53GHz, Mid 2009.  This belonged to my Mom, and she barely used it.  When she did use it, it was almost always at her desk, where it normally sat closed.  The laptop is 100% functional.  I'm an experienced I.T. professional, and I've refurbished it, installing a brand-new third-party 77.5 WH battery (cycle count: 2).

The HD has been wiped, and I've done a fresh install of the latest version of OS X officially available for this model, 10.11.6.  You can also run more recent versions of macOS using Patchers freely available online, and/or install Windows or Linux. I also reinstalled the Hardware Diagnostics (many people fail to take this additional step after a drive-wipe) so you can press 'D' while booting to access them.  An Extended Test with the diagnostics reports "No trouble found" (see photos). 

My Mom bought the laptop new, and it was only used in a clean, non-smoking, no-children, no-pets household.  Cosmetic and mechanical condition is very good, with just some light scuffs / scratches, mostly on the bottom of the case.  No scratches or dead/stuck pixels on the display.  Included are the original box (with handle) and other packaging, power adapter and optional power cord extension, install DVDs (for the version of OS X it was bundled with), unused cleaning cloth (we would clean the laptop for my Mom using the iKlear Apple Polish kit), Apple stickers, and other original materials.
