Hello,
I’m selling my late 2013 model Macbook Pro. I’m the original owner, and I’ve taken good care of it through the years. It basically always stayed at home on my desk.
This is the 2.3 GHZ Quad Core i7 model with 16 GB of RAM and a 500 GB SSD.
This model was one of the first to have the retina display, and it still looks amazing to this day.
Overall it is in very good condition. The battery is in good shape, and the computer is just as snappy and quick as I ever remember it being. It boots up quickly, and will take pretty much anything you throw at it (editing dense 4k video will make the fan spin but it still does the job.) It’s main use for me though was in my home recording studio (smoke free). For my music production, it has always been plenty powerful.
The only things to be aware of are:
1. Some areas of the coating on the screen have worn off with time. It is noticeable when the display is turned off, but once you have the screen on and are using it normally, it’s hardly noticeable at all.
2. The end of the power cord has started to fray — see pictures. It still works fine, but will probably need to be taped or replaced at some point.
3. I once dropped it on its side and it did bang up the right side by the ports a little bit (see photos). However, all 3 ports (SD card reader, HDMI, USB) still work perfectly fine.
Otherwise this computer is in great shape and will no doubt continue to serve for many years to come!
Will ship with a fresh install of Big Sur version 11.6.6.
Thanks for reading and happy bidding!
