This MacBook does not officially support MacOS Monterey, given that it is from 2011; therefore, a patcher was used to update the MacBook to this latest version of Mac OS. This allows all of the latest applications to still be used. The MacBook runs perfectly fine, however, for the device to function properly, the discrete AMD GPU is disabled. This means the MacBook will permanently use the integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics, which ends up being a benefit as the device remains cooler while still having similar performance.
