SUPERVISOR BIOS LOCKED. Therefore you cannot change the BIOS settings or install an operating system. Includes: bare laptop unit with 2GB of RAM and DVD drive. NOT INCLUDED: hard drive; hard drive caddy; AC adapter; battery.
Cosmetic Condition: Moderate wear to outer casing surfaces. Inner plastics/keyboard show light wear only.
Usage Notes: Has a screen hot spot (pixel stuck on?) that shows up more with some background colors than others (shown in photos). Basic functions were tested before unit became SUPERVISOR BIOS LOCKED. USB ports, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth, DVD drive, headphone jack, speakers, ThinkPad light all worked. Nothing else was tested.
History: I had Windows 10 installed and activated on this unit (NOT INCLUDED/COA on bottom of unit is for Vista) and could access/change BIOS. I removed the hard drive and the unit sat for a few months. I installed Fedora Workstation 36 Live as shown in included photo. I shut the unit off and then tried to take a picture of the BIOS screen for specs. At that point I could see BIOS settings but they were grayed out (couldn't change). I removed the CMOS battery and now the unit is SUPERVISOR BIOS LOCKED. All you see when you start/try to access BIOS/install from USB is the Password Screen (I tried hitting enter, the space bar, and 12345 and those didn't work so I gave up).
