Battery Policy:

This applies to any and all product that is sold with a battery.

Any unit / item that comes with a battery, the battery may or may not be functional (fully or partially). Regardless if the product is brand new or an open box. We will not authorize any refund for a battery related issue. As batteries are consumable items with limited life spans it is the responsibility of the purchaser to bid / buy accordingly with our battery policy in mind. 

**HOLIDAY SHIPPING DEALINE**

The last day to ensure UPS delivery before Christmas is December 16th. We cannot guarantee shipments made after that date will arrive before Christmas.

Return Policy:

At SurplusByDesign, items sold AS-IS or Working AS-IS are NOT eligible for returns, refunds and/or exchanges. AS-IS or Working AS-IS items are FINAL SALE. Upon discovery of issues with AS-IS and Working AS-IS items, we stop testing and issues may not be limited to those outlined in our listing.

We cannot guarantee the full functionality of all parts on AS-IS and Working AS-IS items. Battery life for USED and WORKING AS-IS items cannot be guaranteed. We cannot guarantee any warranty on all the items sold in our store. Please bid carefully!  

Cell phones are sold unlocked but are not tested on any networks. Cell phones sold on Surplus By Design are not guaranteed to work outside of Canada, and may not work with all Canadian cellular providers. Please check with your provider prior to bidding to ensure whether the phone is compatible on their network. Returns related to network compatibility issues will not be accepted. Network and data connectivity have not been tested with any providers and are not guaranteed.

Import duties and brokerage fees are not included in the item price or shipping charges.  These charges are the buyer's responsibility.  All U.S. buyers MUST include their phone # in their shipping details.

Please check with your local customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying, we are not able to estimate/quote these charges.  These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up.

We DO NOT mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts"--- US, Canadian, and International government regulations prohibit such behaviour.
