My daughter is the original owner of this MacBook Pro and the laptop works perfectly but does show signs of wear and tear. The battery holds a decent charge depending on what you are doing. The corners are good as the laptop has never been dropped on a corner. The screen is in perfect working order with no scratches. You will see scratches and dents on the outside of the unit, as seen in the pictures, but none of which affect the function of the laptop. I have reinstalled High Sierra to factory default. When you receive the laptop and power it on, you will be presented with the setup screen as seen in the first picture, just as if it were purchased brand new from Apple.
